Common questions

How do I find a splash pad near me?

Tap “Use my location” and we'll list the closest splash pads with distances and a map. Your location stays in your browser and isn't sent to us. You can also search by city.

Are splash pads free?

Most splash pads in public parks are free. Some city-run spray grounds, aquatic centers and water parks charge admission. Each pad's page shows the fee if one is listed.

When do splash pads open?

Most outdoor splash pads open around Memorial Day and close around Labor Day. In warmer states like Texas, Florida and Arizona many open in March or April. A few indoor pads are open all year. See our splash pad season guide.

What's the difference between a splash pad and a spray park?

Nothing, really. Splash pad, spray park, splash park, spray ground and sprayground all mean a play area with fountains and sprayers and no standing water. We list them all.
