About Splash Pad Maps

Splash Pad Maps is an independent directory of splash pads, spray parks and splash parks across the United States. We started it because finding out whether a splash pad has restrooms, shade or a playground, or whether it's even open, usually means digging through city websites and old Facebook posts.

Where the data comes from

Locations and amenities come from OpenStreetMap, the free map of the world built by volunteers. We pull every feature mapped as a splash pad in the US, merge duplicates, and look up what's mapped within a short walk: restrooms, parking, playgrounds, picnic tables, shelters and drinking water. We refresh it every month. Last update: 2026-10-28.
